Single File Rotary Technique
(Modified Crown Down Technique)
Simple, economical and less accident prone
We have realized the limitations of conventional endodontic treatment in the past 15 years. Crown Down technique has a tremendous benefit over apical step preparation. If one want to start rotary endodontics, modified crown down technique is recommended to avoid accident and expenses in your clinic. In a country like India, where clinicians have a lot of limitations, in charging their professional fees, but still want to follow international philosophies and techniques, this technique will elaborate the safest and most economical aspect of endodontics to achieve great success in modern endodontics.

Obturation
Simple, economical linear tugback
Cleaning and shaping is paramount in endodontics. Unless you master these techniques, one should not opt for technique-sensitive obturation. Obturation is very important for the long-term prognosis of an endodontic therapy. One should not opt for technique-sensitive and expensive warm GP obturation procedures, unless he masters the gadgets of cleaning and shaping. This technique of obturation is easy, less technique-sensitive and economical. Unless you master this basic technique, it is not advisable to proceed for warm gutta-percha obturation technique.

Post
Passive, Parallel, Pillar like metal post
The lack of coronal seal contributes to many failures in endodontically treated teeth. Modern endodontics has realized the importance of 4D endodontics. One should not hesitate to choose Post, if you need retention to your coronal filling, making it stable to withstand masticatory load. Metal is the material of choice, to give a stable and long-term retention. Composite post or fibre post or any other similar material post has in-built flexibility which allows to break-down the cement or luting agent around the post, which leads to loosening of the post. Metal post which compensate the anatomical coronal flare offers excellent and long-term retention to coronal filling. Metal is rigid and does not flex in the canal under the masticatory load. Fibre post or carbon post do not bond to dual cure luting agent while composite resins do not react chemically to the dentine (Dentinal tubules help resin attain mechanical retention). This makes mono-block concept debatable and questionable.
